I feel as though I've been seeing double a lot lately. Or perhaps, the truth is that I've been doing a lot of online fantasy shopping as of late and inevitably leads to seeing more of everything!
Here are some of my new shop listings mixed in with their doppelgangers! Just click on the image to view the link.

Wedding Post II
I was so excited to see Kristen wearing some Pretty Damn Cute vintage heels in her wedding pictures that I didn't notice right away how similar our Big Day outfits were.
I hunted and hunted for a vintage gown in my size but ended up falling for this vintage style dress. And though I would have loved to wear red heels, that just wasn't practical for a farm house wedding. I still love and wear my red floral sandals so I'm happy I went with them.

Iconic vintage wedding style
How cute is this couple?!?!? What an amazingly cute couple in such iconicly cute clothes. Kristen got her cute red heels from my shop! I'm really glad they worked out as they work perfectly with their whole look!
The other great part about these photos is how they connect with my own wedding. I was married last year in August, and I wore not only red shoes, but a short, lacey, wedding dress too. Tomorrow I intend to post shots from my wedding.
What are some of your favorite wedding looks? Did you do a vintage wedding? My wedding had a vintage flavor to it, but, despite my best attempts, I could not find a dress nor shoes that were vintage that worked for me.
Thanks again Kristen for sending me these great shots! Best of luck to you and your handsome man!

Something Wicked (Cool) This Way Comes
These are some items that have been waiting and waiting to appear in the shop!
The Victorian Jacket/Dress: A one of a kind piece from the velvet neck wrap with tassels to the chunky buttons to the fur collar. I can (and did on the listing) go on and on about this piece. Best of all: you can wear it as a dress or a coat!
The dress: Howard Wolf 1960s. Babydoll style. Full-skirt. Chunky buttons. Beautiful blackbird and floral designs on bust and cuffs.
The shoes: Cut-outs! Brogue detailing! Oxfords! Chunky heels! If these were my size, I'd weat them with cute socks/bold tights evey day.

Lil' Bitty Sneak Peek
This is a dress tha tI found months and months ago. It screams goth, Wednesday Adams, and fall. But it also sings gorgeous, one-of-a-kind vintage. It has full length sleeves and hits just below the knee. It is oh, so lovely and I will miss seeing it hang in my closet, but will love knowing it finally has a good home!
Coming soon:

Autumn Rush!
Blogger is acting a bit odd today, and I've been trying my best to format this post for quite a while now, and it's just not working (it won't let me cut and paste text or photos), so I'm kind of giving up.
These cute, bold bits are some of the new fall pieces in the shop. All are on sale now. There are many new pieces to come, which I had planned to preview, but blogger be damned!
Click on the photos to view the link! My fav is the Rust colored button down dress -- VINTAGE Yves Saint Laurent! Gush!
{After long last, it's time to blog again! I was away for much of August and then with September came SCHOOL! Yes, I've been back in the classroom since August 25th; my chater-school-speil belongs not here, but elsewhere, so all I'll say is that most, if not all of us, in Massachusetts at least, have longer days and longer years. C'est la vie!}

Chatham, again...
Day 1 of vacation started just as I imagined. Beach, nap, jog, dress-up, dinner at The Chatham Squire. Yes, we are creatures of habit as we ate there when we were last in Chatham.
I promised my husband I wouldn't be on the laptop long, so here are some outfit pics and a glimpse of our fav Chatham haunt.
[NOTE: We are working on the quality/quantity of these outfit posts. His lack of patience combined with my lack of modeling skills is making it quite the challenge]
Dress from Sassy Sister Vintage
40s wicker purse thrifted
Flip flops (my summer shoes) Reef {funny thing, my husband actually took close up pics of these plain, brown flip flops; like I said, we're learning!)
I think these pics are the final evidence that I need a hair cut. What do you think? My mother --oh, geez, mum -- has been begging me to grown it long, but I like it short. Thoughts?

Packing, Cleaning, & Some Play!
Tomorrow we leave for Cape Cod. 4 days alone to celebrate our 1 year anniversary (August 8th), and a week with my family after that. PHWEPH! I have been looking forward to this trip since the bleak New England winter months.
So, when my husband left this morning to help my dad with some neon stuff (more on that in the future), he reminded me to get going on our list of things to clean, pack, and buy. To motivate myself, I started with the packing. I've been saving a couple of new (to me) vintage dresses just for this trip. Here's a peek:
I hope to do an outfit post just about everyday from the Cape, but we'll see how that goes!
And don't forget....

Late Summer? Early Fall? OUTFIT
If you haven't been able to tell, I really love summer -- beaches, sailing, sundresses, barbeques, VACATION -- but I also really love Fall. Quite the dilemma. To make matters worse, I'm a teacher and we're supposed to live for summer and dread the fall -- but not me. As both a student and a teacher, I've always loved buying "new school clothes!"
Though this has been one of the best summers of recent years, I'm really excited about the fall mostly for fashion reasons. My personal fall closet is looking pretty fab, and my Etsy Fall line is looking even better (only if I could be an XS-XL all at once!).
Here are some of my early fall/later summer pieces plus some other pieces from Etsy and beyond that I'd style with them!
Late Summer:
(clockwise from top left)
1. Black and Cream embroidered wiggle dress from my shop
2. Striped Lacey Ankle Sock from Urban Outfitters
3. Calourette Horse Ring from Urban Outfitters
4. Architecture Handbag from Miss Farfalla's Vintage Clothing
5. Draping Gold Drops necklace from Lauren Haupt Jewelry
6. Vintage Two-tone oxfords from my shop

TAGS!
Coincidentally, Lauren of the super crush-worthy shop Dear Golden Vintage published a great blog post on vintage tags, I found a darling 40s sweater with these tags:
I, too, often gush over vintage tags. And this is one of the most unique I've ever seen. The top tag, which I think is in Italian, is pretty clear. The bottom cloth tag says Ada Como. And the third cute little tag which is some sort of light aluminum or plastic says Ede Mark on one side and then has some initials or insignia on the other.
These tags are so cute but I'll be parting with them soon as this sweater is part of my soon-to-be listed pre-fall collection. I've been really slow on the listing as the weather has been so nice and I've been reporting to the beach almost every day.
Here are some of the Pretty Damn Cute items already in the shop that'll be great for the fall!
1940s Cream cut-out, button up blouse w/ rhinestones
70s boho floral dress
70s Velveteen Heels
Lumberjack full-skirt
50s STILL IN THE BOX suede wallet and key holder set!

More things for you and for me!
I've had some crazy good shopping luck lately! I figured I'd share some of my score after reading this post from Liz of The Freelancer's Fashionblog.
In the past two days, I've acquired TWO new vintage dresses that are now among the best in my personal collection (I'll share those later, hopefully in outfit posts). But for now, I'll share two more of the cool housewares I've found. (I say "two more" as I wrote about my new necklace and fan here).
New phone (I was going to sell it buy my hubby wants to keep it! He's so funny at times).
And this typewriter. It works and is so cute. I've wanted one for a while now and am very please (I paid $15 for it)!
Not to mention that I've won not one but TWO giveaways recently as well: one from Leproust Vintage -- a bag, glasses, and gloves which is perfect as I'm heading off on vacation in 2 weeks, and the second a $25 gift certificate to Adore Vintage from The Vintage Mama! Woo-hoo!
Here's a peek of 1 item coming to the shop soon! Lots of great fall stuff coming after my
